RESOURCE PERSON: MR B.S. MAHESH, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychiatry, KMC, Mangaluru
The programme commenced with the introductory remarks, instructions and general welcome by Ms Paloma Rodrigues. The prayer was led by Oyston and Team. Professor Edmund Frank – Coordinator, SACAA Talks Committee delivered the welcome speech. Mr Stephen Pinto- President SACAA highlighted the importance of the alumni association and offered a green welcome to the resource person. Mr. Sunil Kundar introduced the eminent resource person Mr B.S. Mahesh to the gathering.
The resource person emphasized the importance of positive stress (Eustress) and suggested strategies to eliminate stress. He also conducted meditation exercises for keeping mental peace.
The session was followed by a Q & A session. Feedback was solicited from the participants.
The programme concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Ms Sneha.
