The meeting commenced with the general welcome and instructions to the participants by the moderator Mrs Arati Shanbhag followed by a prayer led by Ms Jyoti Vaz.
The welcome address was delivered by Dr Cletus DSouza. The remarks from SACAA President – Mr Stephen Pinto focused on the purpose and theme of the webinar.
The eminent resource person for the webinar – Dr Basavaprabhu Achappa, MD (Internal Medicine), KMC, Mangaluru was introduced by Mr Sunil Kunder- Coordinator of the programme.
The resource person shared his expertise on the conception of covid spread at the global set up. He also highlighted on the delta variant and its forms. He also stressed on measures to be adapted to fight against the third wave covid.
This webinar has created awareness about the third wave and enabled to scientifically and socially make behavioural changes in our day-to-day operations and following the SOP to prevent this menace.
The Q & A session was managed effectively by the moderator. The vote of thanks was proposed by Prof. Edmund Frank. The webinar ended with the concluding remarks presented by Mrs Arati Shanbhag.
The meeting ended by posting the feedback link in order to generate the E certificates.
